Playa Hotels & Resorts Individual Incentive Travel Gift Cards Terms & Conditions
Use of the Playa Hotels & Resorts individual incentive travel gift card (the “Card”) constitutes acceptance of the terms & conditions herein. The Card is a one-time use prepaid card, not a credit card or debit card. The Card is valid for a fixed number of room nights at Participating Resorts (as defined below) and does not expire. The Card is not returnable, refundable or redeemable for cash, and may not be resold or transferred for value, except to the extent required by law. The Card is not replaceable if lost, destroyed, stolen and void if altered, reproduced, transferred or sold. The Card may not be used for unlawful purposes. Any unauthorized use of the Card constitutes fraud. Tax liability, if any, including disclosure, is the responsibility of user. The Card shall be applied towards the cost of eligible bookings at the following participating all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara resorts only: Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Zilara Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana (collectively, “Participating Resorts”). The Card may not be used in connection with a stay at any other Hyatt hotel/resort and/or any other resort owned or operated by Playa Hotels & Resorts. Participating Resorts are subject to change at any time without notice (please visit Hyatt.IncentivesbyPlaya.com/ParticipatingResorts at any time for an updated list of Participating Resorts). All bookings made at Participating Resorts using the Card shall be made at least thirty (30) days in advance of the intended arrival date, are subject to availability at the time of booking and the following black-out dates apply: December 20 through January 4; February 10 through February 20; and April 1 through April 18 (during any calendar year). Redemption of the Card may not be combined with any other gift cards, certificates, offers, tour packages, conventions, or special rate programs and may not be applied to prior stays. World of Hyatt points are not awarded in connection with the use of the Card. Once issued, the Card is not subject to dormancy fees, account maintenance fees or cash-out fees. The original Card and photo identification will be required at check in at Participating Resorts. Participating Resorts reserve the right to institute additional security and verification procedures at the time of the Card’s redemption and/or check-in for fraud prevention purposes. Void where prohibited by law. The Card and these terms & conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its choice of law principles.
How to redeem the Card
Once user is ready to make a booking with the Card, user shall visit the URL Hyatt.IncentivesbyPlaya.com and click on “Book Now” to initiate the booking request. User shall complete the vacation request form by selecting the Participating Resort, the preferred dates of travel and providing basic personal information to process the booking, including the Card’s unique identification number printed at the back of the Card. User may only choose a preferred date of travel that is at least thirty (30) days from the time of booking and not subject to black-out dates. Once the form is complete, user shall click on “Submit your Vacation Request”. User will be contacted via phone by a member of our reservations department within the following 48 hours of submitting the form in order to complete the booking process (user’s preferred Participating Resorts and/or dates of travel may not be available). The Card is valid for a one-time use only. The Card may only be redeemed as indicated herein and may not be used in any other manner including through a tour operator or travel agency. No third-party commission will apply when user redeems the Card. Once the booking process is completed, the number of room nights available within the Card will be added to user’s booking and the resort credit will be loaded into user’s folio to be redeemed once user arrives at Participating Resort. If the booking exceeds the number of nights, number of people or otherwise exceeds the value available within the Card (including the room category/type), user must pay the difference by providing a credit card, which will be charged prior to the scheduled arrival date pursuant to Participating Resort’s payment policy. If user’s incidental charges at Participating Resort exceed the amount of resort credit available on the Card, user must pay the difference. Exclusions apply for the use of the resort credit. If user elects to book less room nights than what is available on the Card or otherwise fails to use the full value available within the Card (including any resort credit component), any unused portion is not refundable, exchangeable for other items/services and will be forfeited by user. The Card will become automatically inactive upon its first use even if user fails to redeem its total value (number of room nights, occupancy, room category/type). All bookings will be subject to availability at Participating Resorts at the time of booking and the following black-out dates apply: December 20 through January 4; February 10 through February 20; and April 1 through April 18, during any calendar year.
